The playability of this Chewbacca is severely limited as it is a plush and it does not have a body. There are no accessories with this plush doll, though the sash is sewn onto the plush. The Chewbacca Angry Birds plush does not include any sort of extended costume or body this is a very pure representation of the Angry Birds Chewbacca with embroidered black eyes and brown fur, a bright yellow beak and the costume sash onto it. This version of Brown Angry Bird Chewbacca is a 5” in diameter stuffed character that is essentially a big head with a white and black sash that is supposed to pass as Chewbacca. This looks only vaguely like Chewbacca as he appeared in A New Hope and with his sash, he only looks slightly like the Brown Chewbacca Angry Bird. The Star Wars Angry Birds plush Chewbacca is part of a current movement in toys where recognizable characters are changed into something else entirely. Instead, this is a parody of Chewbacca and a combination with one of the largest birds, the Brown Angry Bird. For sure, Angry Birds has probably jumped the shark, but I figured it was a good time to check out the Chewbacca Angry Birds plush!įor those unfamiliar with the Chewbacca character from Star Wars Angry Birds ( reviewed here !), it doesn’t matter the birds in Angry Birds do not have actual personalities. When it comes to the Angry Birds Star Wars plush collection, it seems I overlooked the Chewbacca! There is a certain irony to that, in that the Chewbacca Brown Angry Bird plush might well be the best of the line. Secondly, the synchronisation of music and action is amazing, and FINALLY I could hear Angry Birds Duel of the Fates in its full glory! I like how they change the tempo and rhythm, but with no change in the key and the melody.The Good: Good stitching, Safe for children, Looks very much like the Chewbacca Angry Bird. I would not give any spoilers here, but just know that with an army of Darths could three-star any level that Rovio throw at you. Thus it is in an air of disappointment and shock that I see old Darth flinged off his slingshot, and his ability is beyond my imagination. So, bravo! I have been following Rovio’s characters reveal almost week by week, day by day, thus most of the reveals are not foreign to me. However, this is the first time that this idea has appeared on a large scale. The idea of playing as both sides is unfortunately not original, as a similar concept has appeared in the King Pig levels. While I was watching this video, several aspects stood out to me, and I must say that the video (like all other videos), are done superbly.įirst, this video showcases some abilities by both the pork side and the birds. As I recall, when ABSW first came out, there was a lot of excitement, but it is still shadowed by the excitement generated by THIS new release and unveiling. Firstly, I sincerely congratulate Rovio on this historic milestone of ABSWII.
